Real-time health data just got real with the Blaze equine wellness system. The easy-to-attach tail wrap and sensor measures real-time heart rate, strides, gait, skin temperature, distance and more1 during activities. When paired with your smartphone or Garmin smartwatch, you can get insights into your horse’s health and fitness — and make more informed decisions about their well-being and training.

DESIGNED FOR HORSES

The Blaze equine wellness system includes a durable and washable neoprene wrap with hook- and-loop straps and a removable, lightweight and power-efficient sensor.

WRAP AND USE

The easy-to-attach tail wrap holds the sensor to the underside of your horse’s tail to gather health and fitness metrics without special skin preparation. Easily remove the sensor from the tail wrap for cleaning and charging.

ADVANCED SENSOR

The equine optical heart rate monitor provides data under motion and environmental conditions.

Pair with the Blaze mobile app on your smartphone, or use the Blaze app from the Connect IQ™ Store on your compatible Garmin smartwatch to view heart rate, strides, gait, distance and more¹ (requires a connection with Bluetooth® technology).

TRACK MULTIPLE HORSES

Use the wrap and sensor on multiple horses, and create individual profiles in the Blaze app.

SKIN TEMPERATURE

After a few minutes of use, you can see how your horse’s average skin temperature changes, which can be related to activity, environment, potential illness and more.

HEAT SCORE

Heat score is the combined total of the current air temperature and humidity. Based on that total, the heat score will guide you on the safety of riding at that time.

VIEW YOUR ACTIVITIES

See a GPS location summary after your training, or transport activities when paired with your Garmin smartwatch or smartphone.

BATTERY LIFE

Get long battery life of up to 25 hours between charges. Easily remove the sensor from the wrap for cleaning and charging.
